After a long and hard struggle my 6 year old 4850HD graphics card finally gave in and died on me. This means that I can't play DF for the next days/weeks until I get a replacement.

Since my motherboard doesn't have PCI-E 3.0 and only 2.0 I was afraid that I needed to change my motherboard as well as my CPU, but I found out that Graphics cards with PCI-E 3.0 work just as well on motherboards with PCI-E 2.0 as they can't even fully utilize the speed. So fortunately I can just order a new 3.0 graphics card, any suggestions?

I might be on with my laptop to do some scraping, but I can't do any pvp or pve as it runs DF under 20 FPS and lags when too much is happening.

I went with a relative new cheap Gainward GeForce GTX 750 Ti as the rest of my computer still is old. I bought it because it was best for price and that it has shadowplay that I want to test.

When I finally get around and buy a new motherboard + CPU I might get a better GC

That's what I was hoping for. Finally I can record something without losing FPS or atleast not being bothered about it. Is it possible for you to have 30 minutes of shadowplay? If not then how many minutes?

GC arrived today and now I am up and running. Now I just need the servers to open up again.
